As a Trinidadian American I must say this is THE BEST Caribbean food in Northern VA. A couple of spots in MD and VA are good but Ruby's is closest and the food is EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! Everyone that can must go to this dreamy food haven!!!!!!

The best Jamaican food in Alexandria which has been the third time we have catered, starting with the oxtails, the salmon (curry), the red snapper, rice & peas, the cabbage. The first time we had jerk thicken with all the above I've also joined the VIP

Easily the best oxtail I've ever had. So tender and flavorful. Cannot beat it. And the greens are fantastic too! Amazing portions!

I previously had the oxtails for lunch. Our hospital on Ft Belvoir ordered and we loved it!!! I then brought plates home for my family and they were a HUGE HIT! We love this place and the Beef patties are amazing also!! Our Hospital will be placing a lunch order next week. The meat is tender and the plate is packed full!! Anyone will enjoy this delicious meal!!

I've had food fro Ruby's kitchen on several occasions and it has ALWAYS been delicious! The curry chicken with rice and plantains are cooked to perfection! Their beef patty & coco bread is really good too! The best Jamaican spot in Alexandria!

I heard about this kitchen for some time. I went with a friend a for lunch earlier this year and it was amazing. Now, I have tried everything on the menu and its good. It gives "my granma cooked" this. It's really authentic🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 and if you ask anyone the story of how they became a restaurant, it will make your heart smile. I love coming here and bringing my husband! If you haven't tried it, you need to come and get you a plate of grandma's goodness!!!!!

The food was truly authentic and exceeded my expectations. Every dish was prepared with fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and traditional recipes that reflected the culture it represents. You can tell that great care and attention went into every detail, from the seasoning to the presentation. It felt like a genuine homemade meal rather than a commercialized version. If you're looking for authentic cuisine with exceptional taste and quality, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I highly recommend it and look forward to coming back. I'm ADDICTED!!🇯🇲❤️ HOPE

The salmon was flavorful with just the right amount of spice, and the ingredients tasted fresh. Everything worked well together, making it filling without feeling too heavy. Definitely one of the best wraps I've had! Highly recommend!
